th victory over the UVA-Wise Cavaliers (13-14, 11-10 MEC).

How it Happened
Lamont McManus led the charge of the Golden Eagles with 21 points while Charleston shot nearly 50 percent from the field in the victory. The Golden Eagles held the Cavaliers to 25 percent from the field in the first half.
The Golden Eagles shot nearly 50 percent in the first half led by McManus with 11 points to head into the break leading the Cavaliers 34-25. Senior Keir Anderson went 4- for- 7 from the field to tally 9 points in the first 20 minutes of play.
The Golden Eagles came out of the to build their advantage, leading by as many as 22 points with seven minutes left to play. The Cavaliers went on a 15-2 run to claw their way back into the game to bring the score within nine (65-56) led by Chance Sheffy who scored nine of the Cavalier's 15.
The Golden Eagles began to pull away shooting 47 percent in the second half to down the Cavaliers 73-63.
