HOW IT HAPPENED
The first 13 minutes of the game did not go well for UC, as the Oilers scored seven goals in that time frame. Aryanna Jones however answered back after Findlay's seventh goal, scoring less than two minutes later to narrow the lead of the Oilers down to six. Findlay then scored four more goals before the end of the half, and UC's Rachel Kerwin put one in the back of the net to make the score at the break 11-2.
Starting the second half of play, Findlay scored three goals in the first three minutes to bump their lead up to 14-2. Two minutes later UC's Aryanna Jones answered again, but this goal, along with the next three goals the Golden Eagles scored, was not enough for Charleston to come out on top. The Oilers finished the day with win over UC 16-6. Findlay made 16 out of their 28 shots of the game, while UC only made six out of their 21. Charleston totaled 19 turnovers compared to Findlay's 22.
