GAFFNEY, S.C. – Charleston rallied from a set down for the second straight night to claim a victory this time defeating Limestone College in four sets on the Saint campus.

How it Happened
Charleston opened the match flat but still forced Limestone to score 28 points in the first set win over the Golden Eagles, putting UC in an early 1-0 hole. Charleston used their best hitting effort of the evening, swinging at .207 in the second to even the match at 1-1 after taking the set 25-21.
The defense turned up the heat on the Saints in the third set, forcing the hosts to hit negative in the set as the Golden Eagles cruised to a 25-18 win in the set and take a 2-1 lead over Limestone. Charleston held the lead for much of the fourth and what would be the final set, but it didn't come easy for the Golden Eagles. Limestone rallied late in the game to tie at 19-19 only to witness UC score five of the next eight points and leave Gaffney with a four-set win, their 10
th victory of 2018.

NOTABLES
- UC senior libero Darrin DePelligrini set a career-high in digs, totaling 25 in the match. Adriel Roberts also set a career-high in total blocks, coming up with eight against the Crusaders. It marked the second time this season defeated the Saints, also beating them in four sets in Charleston's first match of 2018.
