CHARLESTON, W.Va.—The Golden Eagles win their second straight game and improve their record to 6-3 as they put away Lee Univeristy on Saturday afternoon, winning 13-6.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Aryanna Jones put the first goal of the game in the back of the net, putting Charleston up 1-0 with 26:24 left to play in the first half. However, less than 30 seconds later with 26:01 left in first half play, Lee's Becca Broadwick scored to even up the game 1-1. The first 30 minutes of play went back and forth before finishing the half with a goal from UC's Emma Renda to make the score 6-4 heading into the half.
Esther Yi got her second goal of the day as she had the first goal of the second half, helping UC take a 7-4 lead with 29:32 left in the game. Abby McGowan's four draw control wins allowed the Golden Eagles to win possession in the second half after goals, and pushed UC to a final score of 13-6.

Aryanna Jones led the Golden Eagles with four goals.
Aryanna Jones led Charleston with two total assists.
Abby McGowan led UC in draw controls with 4.
