CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Charleston had an impressive win over Shaw University Saturday afternoon, defeating the Bears 7-2, moving to 13-7 on the year.
UC jumped out to an early lead against Shaw, winning at No. 2 doubles 8-1, and No. 3 doubles 8-0, to take a 3-1 lead heading into singles play. The winning day for Charleston there, as they won all but No. 1 singles to defeat the Bears 7-2min their second to last regular season match.
