PHILIPPI, W.Va. – For the second time this season University of Charleston men's volleyball knocked off Alderson Broaddus University, sweeping the Battlers in straight sets for their 13
th win of 2018.

How it Happened
The Golden Eagles got career-highs from freshmen Ian Barker and Stefan Krumerac as each finished with team-high eight kills to push Charleston past Alderson Broaddus in three sets. Although UC got off to a slow start to Tuesday's match allowing AB to score the first four points, Charleston rebounded quickly to cruise to a 25-19 opening set victory.
The Charleston attack put together a strong second and third set, hitting well over .300 in each of the sets en route to the straight-set win. Krumerac put the finishing touch on both the final two sets, converting on set and match point to hand the Battlers their 18
th loss on the seaon.

NOTABLES
- It marks the first time in program history that Charleston men's volleyball swept the season series with the Battlers after splitting last season's two-match series. The Golden Eagles were winless against Alderson Broaddus in the first two seasons of Charleston volleyball.
