CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Golden Eagles fell for the second straight match, to nationally ranked No. 13 Bluefield State College 8-1 on Monday afternoon.
Bluefield State started their winning day early taking Charleston in all three doubles matches. Charleston's No. 1 singles standout Ben Lakeman had the lone win for the Golden Eagles, defeating his opponent 6-4, 6-3. The rest of the singles matches were dominated by opposing Bluefield State, leading to a 1-8 loss for UC on the day.
