DANIELS, W.Va.  – The University of Charleston Men's Golf team is heading to the National Championships for the fourth time in five years. The Golden Eagles finished the tournament at 28-over, tied with two other teams with plenty of course left to play. After the final group of Franklin Peirce, Concordia, and IUP finished the Golden Eagles were happily sitting in third place. IUP finished with a 29-over 893 for the tournament, tied with Concordia (N.Y.) and Mercyhurst for fourth. Roberts Wesleyan won the regional title by shooting a 25-over 889.
 
The Golden Eagles worked form seventh place after day one, working their way back to qualify for their second trip to nationals in a row.
