How It Happened
The Golden Eagles took control of the match early, winning the first set 25-17, with kills from UC's Carly Granger, Tori Clark, Jessica Sunnenburg, Janeese VerVelde, and Jour'Ney Powell. Charleston kept their momentum heading into the second set, narrowly defeating the Panthers 25-23, with senior Chloe Massaro leading the way with six assists in the set. The last set of play for the Golden Eagles was their broadest win of the day, as they defeat Virginia Union 25-15, to win the match 3-0.
