CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Charleston Women's Volleyball (8-9, 4-0 MEC) team downed the Glenville State Pioneers (5-8, 1-3 MEC) in three sets to continue their unbeaten streak in MEC play.

How It Happened
Tori Clark led the charge for the Golden Eagles in the first set with five kills as the Golden Eagles sailed to a 25-14 victory. Charleston continued with their momentum in to the second set as they claimed a 25-15-win heading into the third set.
The Pioneers kept the game close in the third set, tying the game at 22-22, but the Golden Eagles were able to score on a pair of attack errors and a kill by sophomore outside, Jessica Sunnenberg to seal their 25-22 win, moving on to 4-0 in MEC play.
UC Leaders
-Carly Granger led the Golden Eagles with 14 kills.
-Briaunna Pauley held down the defense leading with nine digs in the win, while Chloe Massaro tallied 4 blocks.
Pioneer Leaders
-Bailey Brawner led GSC with 10 kills, and Ai Miyazaki led with 11 digs.
UP NEXT
The Golden Eagles will host West Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday, September 29 at 2:00 p.m., in the Wehrle Innovation Center Arena.
