How It Happened
The Golden Eagles started the first off behind by six points, but after a service ace by Chloe Massaro, a charge came for the Golden Eagles, taking the Bobcats by five in the first set, 25-20.
Leading by one set heading into the second set, UC took the first three points with ease, will the first kill of the set from Carly Granger. Senior Carly Granger earned her 1000
thcareer kill in the second set, helping the Golden Eagles seal the second set with a kill from Jessica Sunnenburg.
Charleston kept up their momentum starting the third set of play with a trio of errors from the visiting Bobcats. The Golden Eagles finished off the match with two kills in a row from junior Janeese VerVelde, and a final kill from senior Tori Clark, continuing their MEC winning streak.
