How it Happened
In the first half the Pioneers shot an impressive 60 percent giving them the edge in to the break.

Glenville began to pull away leading by no less than six points as the half wound down. Things looked scarce for the Golden Eagles as they went into the break, down 40-46.

The Golden Eagle's Keith Williams led on the defensive front with two steals and four assists as UC went 14-36 from the field.

UC went into the break with a six-point deficit (40-46).

The Golden Eagles climbed their way back into the game, taking their first lead with 13:37 to play (57-55). They would not trail for the rest of the game.

Junior guard Drew Rackley led the Golden Eagles effort with 30 points, including 17 in the second half.

With the Golden Eagles up by 20, a found by Keith Williams with 18 seconds to play put Jamal Pollydore on the line, he would drain his two shots, but it would not be enough to get them within reach of the Golden Eagles who would go on to win 99-81.
