CHARLESTON, W. Va. –The University of Charleston Golden Eagles Football team (4-3, 3-3 MEC) returns home to take on Glenville State (4-3, 3-3 MEC) on Saturday with the homecoming kickoff scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at UC Stadium. The Golden Eagles enter Saturday after suffering a 42-7 setback at the hands of Frostburg State on the road last Thursday.

ABOUT THE OPPOSITION
Glenville State defeated the Bobcats of West Virginia Wesleyan 42-7 last week on Homecoming Saturday. The Pioneers took an 18-0 lead into halftime and finished the game with a 35-point victory. Glenville State received 107-yards on the ground from Mario Pender including a touchdown and was led offensively by QB Timothy Heltzel who went 20-for-33 with 301 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
In their matchup history, Charleston holds a 6-4 record against the Pioneers including a two-game win streak. Last season, the Golden Eagles defeated Glenville State 28-6 on the road.
