INSTITUTE, W, VA. – The Golden Eagles will travel down to take on rival West Virginia State University Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 7:00 p.m.
In the history of this rivalry, Charleston seems to have had the Yellow Jacket's number as they possess an 11-4 record against their foes. Charleston looks for a little revenge from the last meeting between these two teams, as West Virginia State won the latest match by a score of 3-0.
In this current season, the Golden Eagles are fresh off of two home wins this past weekend as they beat Central State University and Salem University. They will look to continue their momentum as they will be faced with a big challenge to beat WVSU on the road.
The Yellow Jackets are currently 8-9 on the year and are 2-0 in the MEC. They seem to be on a roll as well winning their last four games they have played while only dropping one set in those four wins.

Kelsey Matusic and senior
Sydney Burt to lead the charge as they are 5-1 in their careers against WVSU.
Following this game, Charleston will be back at home for the weekend as they will take on Glenville State Friday, Oct. 11 at 6:00 p.m. and Concord Saturday Oct. 12 at 11:00 a.m.
