Charleston, W. Va. – The Golden Eagles are opeing up their home slate in the Wehrle Arena on Wednesday against Ohio Dominican University Panthers after going 1-1 in the MEC/PSAC Crossover this weekend. Charleston fell to the California University of Pennsylvania Vulcans on Friday night 78-73 and took the 72-57 victory over the Mercyhurst Lakers on Saturday.
On Wednesday, Charleston is set to face Ohio Dominican with tip scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Wehrle Innovation Center.

The University of Charleston Women's Basketball team fell to the Vulcans of Cal. Pa. on Friday night. Charleston overcame a 16-point deficit to bring the score within single digits, but their efforts were thwarted by the visiting Vulcans falling 73-78.

Opponent Outlook:
The Panthers are 0-2 after competing in the Midwest Region Crossover Contest hosted at Bellarmine University this past weekend. On Friday, ODU fell to the hosts, 82-71. Four players on the Panther's squad tallied double digit nights, including a 10-point performance off the Bench from Kennedy Schwalbach.
On Saturday, the Panthers fell to No. 13/ No.8 Ashland 103-83. Both sides shot over 40 percent in the contest, but Ashland made seven more shots from behind the arc.
