LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – University of Charleston ran to their second consecutive NCAA DII Atlantic Region Men's Cross Country title Saturday morning, crushing the field by 21 points to secure their spot in the NCAA DII Cross Country National Championship later this month.

By capturing the Atlantic Region title, Charleston will run at the NCAA DII Cross Country Championships in Sacramento, California on November 23.  In their first appearance at nationals in 2018 UC ran to a 22ndplace finish among the 34-team field.  Coach Bias is looking for an even better performance from this Golden Eagle squad and set a preseason goal of finishing top-15 at this year's national championship.  Joining Charleston in Sacramento from the Atlantic Region will be Edinboro (2nd) and fellow MEC representative Davis & Elkins (3rd).
