CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- University of Charleston overcame a sluggish doubles start to earn a hard fought 5-2 victory over Bluefield College (Va.) on Saturday evening at the Charleston Tennis Club.

The Golden Eagles rebounded in singles though, taking the first five courts which proved to be enough to secure the 5-2 win. Lakeman rallied from a set down to knock off his Ram opponent. Alek Gracin, Joao Tayar and Jason Prince all easilty won in straight sets at No. 2 through No. 4 singles while Bryson Tye scratched out a tough three-setter at No. 5.
