HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- University of Charleston men's tennis opened their Spring Break with a 7-0 shutout of regional foe Kutztown University on Tuesday afternoon to begin their week in Hilton Head.

The Golden Eagles dropped only a total of three games as they swept the Bears in doubles, including a 6-0 score at No. 3 doubles from the tandem of Bryson Tye and Ian Morrison.  Things were just as easy as Charleston moved into singles as all six Golden Eagles won in straight sets highlighted by Tristen Shaw at No. 6 handing out a 6-0, 6-0 defeat of his Bear opponent.

Charleston improves to 3-1 on the season and gets back on the courts Wednesday to take on University of Missouri - St. Louis.
