HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- Golden Eagle men's tennis were dealt their second consecutive loss at the PTR Spring Tennis Fest on Thursday afternoon as they were down by University of Illinois Springfield, 5-2.
Ben Lakeman and Joao Tayar paired up at No. 1 doubles to earn a victory but the Stars took the other two doubles courts to secure the point going into singles.  Illinois Springfield took four of the six singles courts to hand the Golden Eagles their third loss of the season.  Alex Gracin at No. 2 singles and Tom Andrews at No. 4 accounted for Charleston's two points on the day.
Charleston wraps up their trip to Hilton Head on Friday with a match against Indiana University East.
