HUNTSVILLE, Ala. –The Golden Eagles fell to the University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team on Thursday 18-7, with Charleston falling to 2-3, and UAH rising to 8-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After Charleston took a 4-2 advantage with 19:37 remaining in the first half, UAH turned in six unanswered goals to lead 8-4 on the way to a 18-7 win on Thursday. The Golden Eagles worked in unison for the first 10 minutes of the first half, but were unable to keep their momentum, trailing 12-5 heading into the half.
The second half of play was a similar story for the Golden Eagles, as the Mustangs were able to score three back-to-back goals to lead 15-5 with 26:25 left in the game. UC was able to pick up a goal making the score 15-6 with 21:16 as Charleston tried to use their offensive force to work past UAH. Although they tried, the Golden Eagles were not able to top Huntsville, falling 18-7.
