CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Golden Eagles (9-8, 4-0 MEC) took a pair of victories from the Notre Dame Falcons (7-12, 1-3 MEC) on Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE:
Notre Dame took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second, on a single from M. Richards, but in the top of the third UC scored three runs on an error and a triple by Colby Johnson.
Naja Garcia and Z Santoro got Notre Dame back in it as the Falcons scored two runs before top of the sixth. Charleston tacked on three more runs taking the 6-3 lead in the top of the seventh, giving the Falcons one last opportunity to score.
Notre Dame scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the seventh, but it was not enough to get past the Golden Eagles.
GAME TWO:
The Golden Eagles cruised to a 4-0 victory in game two starting with a run by Brice Arrington on Jesse Elliot's single in the top of the second.
Gianfranco Morello doubled to right field in the top of the third sending Johnson and Jordan Bailey home giving UC the 3-0 lead.
Finally, in the top of the seventh, Hayden Cartt singled, moving to second as Morello scored, giving UC the 4-0 victory.

The Golden Eagles will host Shepherd University on Saturday March 23, first pitch is set for 1:00 p.m.
