CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- University of Charleston men's tennis dropped a 6-1 decision to Bluefield State College on Friday evening at the YMCA of Kanawha Valley.
The Blues entered Friday's match ranked No. 33 in the latest ITA National Rankings released this past Wednesday. Golden Eagle junior Ben Lakeman secured Charleston lone point by winning at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-4, over Bluefield's Frederik Bau-Madsen.
Charleston returns to the courts next Friday to host Mercyhurst University.
