HOW IT HAPPENED

The tie was short lived as Charleston again had the answer, plating a pair of runs in the home half of the fifth to take a 5-3 lead into the late stages.  Wong gave way to Seth Nightingale in the sixth and the sophomore shut down the Battlers over the final three innings, allowing just one hit while striking out seven.
