No. 29 Lakers Too Much for Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- University of Charleston men's tennis lost a tough battle against No. 29 nationally ranked Mercyhurst University, 5-2, on Friday evening at Schoenbaum Courts.

The Golden Eagles played right with the Lakers as four of the six singles matches going to three sets but Charleston found themselves on the losing end of three of four which proved to be the difference in Friday night's match.  Mercyhurst captured the doubles point after winning two of the three doubles courts.  The Lakers swept the first four singles courts but it was Jason Prince and Adam Malouf at No. 5 and No. 6 singles who secured Charleston's two points on the evening.
