HOW IT HAPPENED
The Golden Eagles started the game against the Rams off with momentum, as attackers Emma Renda and Isabelle Pisani successfully put Charleston up 2-0 with 21:22 left to play. UC continued to work Shepherd's defense but were unable to bring the energy back after the visitors called a time out. The visitors scored five back to back goals to go up 5-2 on UC, with 11:08 until the half. Brianna Rock and Renda each gave the Golden Eagles goals, but they weren't enough to lead at the half. Charleston trailed behind the Rams 8-4 at the half.
The last thirty minutes of the game weren't much different, as Charleston tried to work offensively past the Rams. Pisani and Rock each snagged goals for the Golden Eagles, but their efforts weren't able to stop the offensive force of the Rams. Charleston fell on the day 16-7.
