HOW IT HAPPENED

Less than three minutes later, the Golden Eagles' Aryanna Jones was able to sneak one in, putting the score at 3-2. The Bobcats responded by scoring three back-to-back goals, putting UC down 5-3 with 45 seconds left. Charleston's freshman standout Isabelle Pisani finished a free-position shot with 11 seconds left, putting the score at 5-4 heading into the half.
Coming into the second half of play, Charleston found a rhythm, using skill and power to overtake the visitors. Senior Peyton Harris made the score even at 5-5 with 28:51, which set a fire inside of the Golden Eagles, giving them the energy to score 11 goals in a row (Jones: 3, Renda: 3, Rock: 2, Youngman: 2, Harris:1).
