INDIANAPOLIS -- The University of Charleston will represent the Mountain East Conference in the NCAA Division II Baseball Tournament as announced by the NCAA on Sunday night.
The Golden Eagles, winners of the MEC Tournament, are the No. 6 seed in the region. UC will play in a three-team pod that includes No. 3 Gannon and No. 2 West Chester. The games will be played at West Chester. Charleston will take on the Gannon University Golden Knights on Thursday, May 16, at 2:00 p.m.
On the other side of the bracket in the Atlantic Region, No. 1 Millersville will host No. 4 Bloomsburg and No. 5 Mercyhurst.
