CHARLSTON, W. Va.—The UC women's volleyball team is set to host the MEC/PSAC Crossover tournament this weekend. The Golden Eagles will be squaring off against Slippery Rock University, Shepherd University, Mercyhurst University, and Shippensburg University.
 
UC will match up with Slippery Rock to kick off the tournament at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13. Slippery Rock is currently 2-1 on the season.
 
The Golden Eagles will then play a match against Shepherd University later that same evening at 7:00 p.m. Shepherd is entering the tournament with a record of 4-0 this season.
 
Charleston will be back in action against Mercyhurst University at 1:00 p.m. Saturday Sept. 14. The Lakers come into the tournament with a record of 3-0 on the early 2019 season.
 
UC will then close out the tournament that evening at 7:00 p.m. against Shippensburg University. The Raiders come into the tournament with a record of 3-0 as they hosted the Raider Classic tournament last weekend at their home court.
 
Charleston enters the Crossover Tournament with a record of 1-3 and looks to build off their most recent win earlier this week against Winston-Salem University where they beat the Rams three sets to none.
