CHARLESTON, W. Va. –The Golden Eagles (1-1) will return home on Saturday to face West Virginia Wesleyan (0-2) with kickoff scheduled for 12:00 p.m. at UC Stadium.

• The Golden Eagles are looking to improve to 2-1 on the season after defeating #25 Fairmont State in the season opener then falling to Urbana on the road 28-20.
• This will be the ninth meeting between the Golden Eagles and the Bobcats, UC holds the 5-3 advantage.
• UC has outscored opponents in the first half 55-17 while being outscored 50-7 in the second half.
This will be the sixth-straight meeting of the two programs with UC holding the 3-2 advantage. Last season, the Bobcats defeated the Golden Eagles 27-26. The game came down to a last-minute field goal for the Golden Eagles which they were unable to convert.
THE OPPOSITION: The Bobcats dropped their first game of the season to Urbana 43-14 and hit the road to face Division I FCS opponent Davidson College in Week 2 and fell to the Wildcats 41-0. Last season, the Bobcats finished 1-10, with their lone win coming against the Golden Eagles.
4TH QUARTER VICTORIES: The last three meetings between the teams were determined by just 11 points. In 2017, a fourth quarter touchdown secured the win for the Golden Eagles and in 2016, a Charleston interception with 40 seconds left secured the win for the Bobcats.
