Box Score BUCKHANNON, W, VA.—The Golden Eagles traveled down to Buckhannon to play an evening match against West Virginia Wesleyan college. UC was unable to put together much of a fight as they lost the match three sets to none.
 
The first set was a close one. The Golden Eagles battled the Bobcats but ultimately lost. They lost the set by a score of 25-22.
 
In the second set Charleston was not able to keep up with the Bobcats as they lost the set by a score of 25-17.
 
In the third set, the girls could not come back from the past two sets. They were unable to put much together and could not force a fourth set as they lost 25-19.
 
Briauna Pauley recorded two aces, Jessica Sunnenberg recorded a single ace, Janeese VerVelde recorded four kills along with six digs and five blocks, Kelsey Matusic had 10 digs, Sydney Burt recorded six kills and Erin Thomas put up 16 assists with six digs.
 
The Golden Eagles will be back in action tomorrow afternoon as they will play a match against Davis & Elkins at 2:00 p.m. in Elkins, W, VA.
