CHARLESTON, WV. – The University of Charleston defeated Bluefield College this Saturday 6-1. The last time these two teams matched up against each other was on February. 23 of last year and UC took the win with a final score of 5-2. Double pair senior Ben Lakeman and Junior Joao Tayar defeated their opponents. Senior Jason Prince and first year Daniel Harms were the second double pair, and defeated their opponents 6-2.
 
 
Bluefield senior Satoshi Yamada was the only Ram to win his match set against Joao Tayar. Tayar did put up a good fight by going to the third set. The only other match up that went to the third set was Prince against Rodrigo Huarachi. Prince took the last two sets to close the match.
 
Up next the Golden Eagles will head to Pennsylvania to play against Edinboro University on February 21^st.
