Charleston, WV (January 7, 2020) - The University of Charleston's baseball program will be holding its Annual Conference Kickoff Dinner, Friday, March 13 in the Geary Ballroom, located on the second floor of the Geary Student Union on campus.  

The baseball program is coming off a very successful 2019 campaign in which they finished with an overall record of 41-19. They were able to repeat as MEC champions and advance all the way to the NCAA Atlantic Super Regional where they came only one win away from the College World Series. 

The team will look to continue such success into the 2020 season lead by new head coach Robbie Britt. The First Pitch Dinner will give friends, family, and fans an opportunity to celebrate a new and exciting year of UC Baseball! The dinner will also be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the 1990 WVIAC Conference Championship team led by Mike Myers. Meyers graduated in the class of 1990 and was inducted into the University of Charleston Baseball Hall of Fame this past fall.  

The event will include a silent auction featuring sports memorabilia and other items, a feature state of the program address from Coach Britt, an opportunity to meet the 2020 Golden Eagle Baseball Team, and a live Q&A with the assistant coaches.  

The Golden Eagle Baseball Program hopes to see you all there and can't wait to celebrate the past and present of UC Baseball.
