ORLANDO, FL – The Golden Eagles men's tennis team took down the lions from Emmerson College today as they prevailed by a score of 5-2.
UC took the first point of the day as they defeated the Lions in doubles play. Adam Malouf and Daniel Harms were the first pair to finish their match as they took care of business winning 8-2. The next pair to finish was Ben Lakeman and Joao Tayar as they won 8-4. The final pair in doubles play to finish was Jason Prince and Bryson Tye as they also won by a score of 8-4.
In the singles matches, UC went 4-2 as UC's Adam Malouf won in the #3 match (6-1). Daniel Harms was the next to finish and put a point on the board for UC as he prevailed (6-0, 6-0). Sam Bowman was next up as he won his match (6-1, 6-0). Tristen Shaw fell in his match (6-1, 1-6, 5-10). Jason Prince was the next to finish as he took his match (6-4, 6-2). The final match of the day was lost by Alex Martinez (4-6, 6-4, 3-10).
