SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – The Golden Eagles took home their second straight win of the season, with a 83-60 victory over the Notre Dame Fighting Falcons on the road Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Notre Dame was the first to score two minutes into the contest and continued an 8-0 run over the Golden Eagles. Midway through the first half Charleston went 6-for-6 from the field and with 11:42 to play held a 16-10 lead over the hosts.
As the clock ticked down, the Falcons went on a 10-1 run to bring the score to 31-24 with the Golden Eagles still ahead. Roland and Jones each punched five points each during the Falcons surge.
Heading into the break the Golden Eagles led by 11 points and never dropped the lead through the second half of play. Charleston boasted a 14-point lead just over two minutes into the second stanza on a three-pointer from junior Keith Williams and led by as many as 28 points with less than five to play in the contest.
Charleston shot 51 percent from the field while their defensive effort held the home team to just 33 percent shooting.
