Box Score Charleston, W.Va- The Golden Eagle Women's volleyball team came home for the first time in a week and a half on Friday night. The two game hiatus saw the Golden Eagles go .500 after losing to Davis and Elkins last Friday, and defeating Concord on Tuesday.

How it Happened
UC opened the match winning the first set 25-16. Key kills by Bearnson and mistakes by the Pioneers allowed UC to easily win the first set.
Charleston ran into trouble early in the second set. However, they would battle back from down 13-8 to take the set 25-19. Key timeouts and a 8-0 run to end the set propelled the Golden Eagles to the second set victory.
UC took care of business and won the final set 25-13.
Sage Bearnson lead the team with 12 kills,
Brianna Washburn got her first kill of the year after returning from injury, and
Madison Jackson lead UC with 11 digs.
