Charleston- W.Va—The University of Charleston Baseball Program is hosting their first Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive that will run until November 21
st. Donations will support the Covenant House located in Downtown Charleston.
Acceptable donations include peanut butter, canned tuna, boxed stuffing, dry pastas, dry rice, dry cereals, powdered milk, canned fruits and vegetables, canned beans, canned soups, and dry baking mixes.
Bring five food items and receive free game admission to any basketball game hosted at the University of Charleston this weekend. Donations can be taken to the ticket booth in front of the Innovation Center.
Head Baseball Coach Robbie Britt had this to say on the initiative - "We always enjoy serving our community. Great initiatives come from great ideas and this initiative specifically will allow us to use our platform to positively impact the special community that we represent."
