How it Happened
The Golden Eagles opened up the day with their first match against The Salem University Tigers. The Golden Eagles came out on top in set one with a score of 25-14 including 16 kills. The next set was won quite comfortably by Charleston closing it out at 25-11. The Golden Eagles complete the sweep on Saturday afternoon by posting a 25-14 score in the third set.
 
With a team total of 50 kills on the day, Sage Bearnson lead the charge with 15 kills, followed by Mckenzie Carpenter's 13.

How it Happened
Charleston got back in action with a 6pm start against Bluefield State on Saturday evening.
 
Set one was very back and forth between the Big Blues and The Golden Eagles but Charleston prevailed and pulled out the win with a score of 25-19. Sets two and three were dominated by the Golden Eagles, winning both 25-13.
 
Erin Thomas with her first start of the season helped carry the Golden Eagles to victory leading in both Aces with five and Digs with fourteen.
 
Maria Hernandez added 61 assists on the day to bring her season total to 989.
