Buckhannon, W. Va – The University of Charleston Golden Eagles took home their 10th straight win in a road contest against the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats. The Golden Eagles took the 101-85 victory. Charleston was led by Isaiah Gable with 23 points in the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Golden Eagles came out strong with a 13-6 lead five minutes into the first half. Throughout the first half, the Golden Eagles were holding their strong lead with a pair of threes from O'Neal and Colbert. In the final five minutes of the half the Bobcats were steadily coming back when two Bobcat players, Daylin Lee hitting a scored on back-to-back possessions. Jayln Reed hit both of his free throws to cut the score to five to end the first half. In the first half the Golden Eagles went 19-31 shooting 61.3 percent from the field.
Heading into the second half, Charleston scored the first bucket by Eddie Colbert, but the Bobcats followed with a three from Jaret Mullooly. At the 14:58 mark, a splash three pointer by Keith Williams gave the Golden Eagles the 62-49 advantage. Seth O'Neal then converted a three-point play from the stripe to put the Golden Eagles in front with a score of 91-76 with 2:55 left in the game. Charleston maintained the gap for a 101-85 victory over the hosts.
Charleston had an overall shooting percentage of a 54.1 from the field, led by Gable with 23 points, O'Neal, and McManus combined for 35 points in the win.
