HOW IT HAPPENED

The Golden Eagles took the court with a very new group from a year ago, as each player was making their Charleston debut.

Doubles play was very close for the Golden Eagles, as high energy and fast-paced games created a competitive environment for both teams. In doubles, UC lost 4-6 (1st doubles), 6-7 (second), and 5-7 (third).

On the singles side, Charleston was led by Giesberts in the one position, who battled hard but fell in a tight two sets. The match was highlighted by Jake Magill and Krish Patel taking their first ever collegiate matches to super tiebreakers.
