CHARLESTON, W. Va. – The University of Charleston Lacrosse program (1-2, 0-0 MEC) fell to Barton College on Saturday afternoon by a score of 17-7. Charleston was led by Elishia Davis who tallied five of the Golden Eagles seven goals.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Golden Eagles kept the game close midway through the first half with a score of 4-3 in favor of the Bulldogs. Barton then scored two unanswered goals before Elisha Davis netted one for Charleston bringing the score to 6-4.
Once again, the bulldogs netted one more before the end of the first half, before opening the second stanza with two goals for the 5-point advantage over the Golden Eagles
Barton's offense continued to surge as the score sat at 16-5 with just five minutes to play in the contest. Davis once again found the net for the Golden Eagles bringing the score to 16-7. Tess Yuhas scored one final goal for the the Golden Eagles before Jordan Riddle sealed the game for the Bulldogs with a final score of 17-7.
Goalkeeper Georgia Ryan collected six while allowing 17 goals playing all 60 minutes of the contest.
