ERIE, Pa- The men's golf team competed in the Mercyhurst Fall Invitational on September 17th-18th.  Leading the Golden Eagles was Mitch Hoffman who took home the individual medal. 

How It Happened
The two-day event was located at the Lake View Country Club in North East, Pennsylvania. After day one, the team was tied for 1st, but the team finished second with a total score of 590.
 
Mitch Hoffman finished in 1st place, scoring one total stroke above Connor Bennick, Hunter McGee, and Ryan Peters who all tied for 2nd place. Hoffman scored a total of 143, scoring a 68 in the first round and a 75 in the second round. Bennick, McGee, and Peters tied with a total of 144.
 
Erik Ulvang finished in the top 10, tying with Gannon's Mark Majewski for 8th place with a total of 147. David Scragg tied for 13th  and finished the tournament with a total of 149.

The Golden Eagles will compete in the Bud Elwell Classic hosted by Ganon University on September 19-20.
