Charleston, W.Va. – Golden Eagles pick up second MEC win with victory over the Pioneers at home.

How it Happened:
Glenville State opened the game, going on a 10-2 run not missing a shot that they took, but Charleston countered and went on a run of their own scoring the next eight points to tie the game at 10-10 heading into the first media timeout.
Following the media timeout Charleston continued their run and went on to lead over the Pioneers 18-10.
The next twelve minutes of the half were fairly matched as both teams traded buckets back and forth keeping the game within a few possessions.
Eddie Colbert III was the difference maker heading into the locker room as he went on a six-point run in the remaining minutes of the half.
Riding the momentum gained from the first half, Charleston continued to fire on all cylinders. Before the under-15 media timeout, the Golden Eagles' advantage grew to 23 points.
Glenville State went on a 19-10 run in the last five minutes of the game, but it would not be enough to make a comeback. Charleston finished the match with a sixteen-point lead over the Pioneers.
The Golden Eagles picked up their second Mountain East Conference win and improved to 3-2 overall.
Eddie Colbert III led the team with nineteen points and eight rebounds.
Keith Williams had eighteen points shooting 70%.
