VICTOR, N.Y- Men's golf showed well in a showcase Saturday through Monday at Ravenwood Country Club in Victor, NY. They would finish tied for second place with California, PA.

After day one the Golden Eagles trailed by six strokes and were tied for fifth place with Gannon University. They shot 307 as a team and Mitch Hoffman lead the team with an opening round 74. He At the end of the first he was tied for fourth place. Victor Del Pomo Ramis shot a hard earned 75 and had was tied for ninth place.

Day two saw the Golden Eagles dig deep to pull out a combined score of 307 with big help from the MEC's Freshman of the Year Erik Ulvang. Ulvang was two under on the day after finishing  his tournament with a closing round 70. This jumped him into first place on the team as he finished with a total score of 152. They would jump up three spots from the previous day and finish tied for second place.
