The second match of the day started how the previous one ended, with UC winning. The Golden Eagles stormed out to a 1-0 by sweeping all three doubles to clinch the point. Rolling into singles, playing in front of a strong UC travelling fan section, Rawson barely put a foot wrong, winning 6-1 6-0 at #3. Giesberts added the next point winning in straight sets again at #2, Llorente would get the clinching point after overcoming a tough first set to win 7-6 6-0 at #1.
With the match clinched, Jake Magill added the fifth point for the Golden Eagles, not dropping a single game in a dominant 6-0, 6-0 victory. Close behind was Lenny Stevens. The big swinging Belgian cruised to victory with a sublime performance, notching a 6-0 6-1 victory at #5. The match was finished by Jack Bowman, sophomore, who produced an efficient 6-0 6-2 victory at #6, to remain undefeated in dual match play for the season.
The eagles move to 5-0 in MEC play after the win, and 17-2 on the year.
