Intensity was the word of the day for the Golden Eagles win over the Fairmont Falcons.  With cheers heard after nearly every point on all three doubles courts, both team were looking to take the crucial doubles points. It would be Charleston prevailing on all three courts by scores of 6-4 (1
st Doubles), 6-3, (2
nd  Doubles), 6-4 (3
rd Doubles)
Â
In singles Charleston came charging out of the gate taking quick wins at 2

th singles (Stevens). From there both teams settled in the battle.  1
st Single (Giesberts), 3
rd singles (Rawson), 4
th singles (Patrawala) all went into the third set.  Pinto at 5

Â
The win puts Charleston squarely at the top of the regular season MEC standings. Â
Â
