Box Score East Stroudsburg, Pa.—No. 19 University of Charleston Softball (45-10) defeats East Stroudsburg 2-0 to take game one of the Atlantic Super Regional. Brianna McCown (29-4) was lights out with 10 strikeouts and only one hit allowed in seven innings pitched. She faced the game's minimum number of batters, as Isabella Andujar gunned out a Warrior trying to steal second.
The two Golden Eagle runs came in the top of the sixth inning on a double to right field by Allysa Lake. She plated Kaylee Hotchkiss who previously led off the inning with a single and Andujar who reached on a walk.
