CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The University of Charleston women's volleyball team (15-6, 5-2 MEC) defeated Frostburg State in straight sets (25-18, 25-16, 25-20) on Thursday night at the Wehrle Innovation Center. The win improves the Golden Eagles to 15-6 overall and 5-2 in the Mountain East Conference (MEC).

How it Happened:
Riley Hoff led Charleston with 12 kills and hit .500, adding 17 points to pace the offense. Kate Strong made a significant impact with eight kills and a .889 hitting percentage, finishing with 10 points. Patrycja Majos also contributed seven kills and played a critical role in securing the victory.
The Golden Eagles set the tone early, winning the first set 25-18 with a .281 hitting percentage. In the second set, Charleston continued to dominate, hitting .317 and cruising to a 25-16 win. Frostburg State made a push in the third set, but Charleston maintained composure, closing out the match with a 25-20 victory and a .321 hitting percentage.
The loss drops Frostburg State to 6-12 overall and 1-6 in MEC play.
