Although Carson-Newman managed to claw back with a win at #2 singles, UC remained undeterred in their quest for victory. The match was decisively sealed as the #26 nationally ranked Jowan Rawson showcased his mettle with a commanding 6-2, 6-3 victory at #4 singles, clinching the victory for UC with a resounding 4-1 lead.
With the match firmly in hand, UC demonstrated their depth and determination as the remaining two singles matches were left unfinished, with UC commanding both contests by a set.
