How it Happened:
Point Park came out strong in the first half, jumping to an early 5-0 lead. However, Charleston quickly responded, regaining the lead at 22-18 following a clutch three-pointer from Ugwuakazi with 6:35 remaining in the first half. The teams traded baskets, and UC entered halftime with a slim 30-26 lead.

Golden Eagles head coach James Long knew his team needed to improve, especially with both three-point and free-throw shooting percentages at just 25% by halftime.

The second half was a different story. UC came out with renewed energy, never giving up the lead. Graduate student Zach Loveday ignited the team with the first dunk of the half, providing the momentum UC needed. At the 10:12 mark, Lipkins drained another three-pointer to extend the lead to 23 points, and the Golden Eagles cruised to a comfortable 73-52 victory.

In addition to Lipkins' 20 points, senior Obinna Ugwuakazi delivered a strong performance off the bench, contributing 19 points and securing a double-double with 11 rebounds.
