Charleston, W.Va. — The University of Charleston men's basketball team delivered a dominant performance on Saturday, cruising to an 85-64 victory over Salem University in front of the home crowd.

From the opening tip, Charleston set the tone with efficient offense and aggressive ball movement. Freshman, Kaden Davis led the Golden Eagles with a team-high 15 points, capitalizing on his inside presence and drawing fouls to help Charleston stay in control in tight moments. Hamilton Campbell played a steady floor game for Charleston, contributing 11 points while facilitating the offense. His ability to rebound and dish key assists helped sustain offensive pressure throughout the game. Balanced scoring from Ben Nicol and Matthew Shelton, each chipping in 8 points, underscored Charleston's depth and team-first mentality.
